Tree ID help
I don't have a picture and I know that would help. I live in PA and I see trees around now that are blooming white flowers. They are small almost large shrubs. They look like a dogwood, but it's past dogwood blooming time. Anyone have any idea what this is? I will have to try and snap a picture of someone else's.
THANKS for any help.

Babylark, check Google for images of Cornus kousa and see if that's your tree. It is indeed a dogwood, Chinese Dogwood, and is increasingly grown in this country as it offers a later bloom and more disease resistance than our native Cornus florida.
