Default I want to try big ones

I have seeds of about 20 varieties of big tomatoes, up to 1 kg
the choice is hard as I can only grow 2 different varieties of each color.

so what would you say for the best pinks, yellows, oranges, reds, whites and bicolors? ( I dont have seeds for big greens and blacks )

get me some ideas, hoping I have the seeds for

and ...... I am looking for flavor, that is the most important thing, not the size or productivity.

Oh my, I have a dirty mind, I was thinking this may belong better in "Undercover Gardening" or even "Growing For Market"!!!

Okay, seriously, maybe if you list what seeds of large fruited romatoesm there can be suggestions made that will be meaningful or better suited for you.

KarenO, I had all of those you mentioned exept NAR and they were never real biggies. Never bigger than 600 / 700 gr., most of them even smaller.

Orange russian 117 is my alltime favorite

I have read a lot of good things about WES on your red list. I have not grown it myself yet.

I remember when the Liter bottles of whiskey started hitting the market for the same price as a quart.
People wouldn't buy the liters.
Now it is the other way around what used to be a 1/2 gallon bottle is 1.75 liters which is 0.462 gallons.
We are getting ripped off.

I grew a wonderful large pink beefsteak this past summer, Pink Titan. The plant was very productive, the tomatoes were late but they were all very large and delicious.

I can send you seeds if you would like, just pm me your address.

Charline,
I had 3 really good big tomato varieties. One was a large black - Fleur de Reagir.
I also grew a red - Moya. The third is Rebel Yell, a pink.

All were outstanding.

If you don't mind the small correction, a pound is 453 grams (less than half a kilo). Agreed however that's a nice size.

Ripped off is right. Much of the imported olive oil is packaged in 3 liter tins but marketed (or perceived) as 1 gallon (~3.75 liters).

Keep posting, and I'll keep reading. It'll be a "mystery" as to which of the above varieties Charline doesn't receive.

I would rate Fred Hempel's Orange Jazz higher than Orange Minsk.
