Hello all,
I have about 3 plants that are starting to flower, isn't it too early for them? Should I pinch them off? http://imgur.com/cnryUic |

Depends on if you want early tomatoes or not. It may or may not, depending on who you ask, affect later season production. I have done both and not noticed a production difference either way.
These days I buzz them with the toothbrush to make sure they pollinate and give me that early tomato. Especially when you have plenty of plants without early flowers. |

I planted my with flowers. Plants do drop flowers on their own if it is to cold, to hot, not enough nutrients etc... I would take a chance.
Just my opinion, others might have different one.

In my experience they will fall off anyway.

I keep it. In shorter summer areas one can not refuse early tomatoes.
Though for zone 5? aren't you a bit on early side with this size of plant? |
