Karla, I started those pink hollyhock seeds that you sent me this spring and they are blooming now!!!! I think that's amazing for a biennial, even though it's a tad late

Karla, do your hollyhocks come back year after year? My mom had one that always did, but mine always freeze out.

My h.hocks usually return. Sometimes h.hocks will reseed.
In fall, I cut my h.hocks down leaving about 4 inches from the bottom.
