Default Video update on my eggplant progress..

Amazing how quickly these are bearing fruit! Black 5 gallon grow bags....the way to go!

Yes....so I grew what I hoped was Apple Green last year and got that large oval pale green/dark green Kermit type fruit. Saved seeds, am growing several (there were subtle differences in stem color) - I just love these mysteries! What I didn't expect is to replicate the F1 hybrid so easily....more seed saving, and will be sharing to see who else wants to join the fun, of course!

Haaa Those all look great . I been kicking the idea around of using those 5 gallon bags for a few years . Anything I plant in the ground here is a battle with root knot nematodes.. Members of my family want to grow things in limited space, mostly eggplant has been their choice. So your video has kick started 2 people here

Very nice! I've got no fruit yet, bu the blooms are starting. I do recommend growing eggplants in pots or grow bags. I've had much better luck with them than I ever did in the ground. Here's a pic of a few plants in pots (you might notice the grow bag up in the corner too) on the deck that were planted out in early June.
