Any one grows hibiscus here? I just got the common red one...

I fell in love with this hibiscus I saw in the plant market last 2 sundays ago...

If I had greenhouse space, I could certainly waste room for tropical hibiscus as I think they are awesome. I just wish the hardy types have come as far of the tropical varieties in their hybridization.

Pinakbet
at the bottom of the advanced reply screen is a "Manage Attachments" Click on that. A screen will pop up. Click on the "Browse" and Choose a picture from your computor. Click on "Upload".... Let it upload. The thumb should be there when you preview your reply. It takes awhile to upload and will tell you when it is finished

Friend of mine had this growing in the middle of some pachysandra for years. Never grew over 3 feet tall. I dug a couple up and planted them at my house. They grew to 7 feet tall. I have no idea what variety they are but they survive our winter.
