Default Mega Blooms for HEAVY HITTERS!

Never before have i grown tomatoes for size.......until this year. I have several grafted heavy hitter varieties going this season and so far i have some very promising fused blossoms that have set fruit. Here is my progress in pictures. Do you have any you are excited about? If so post your pics of fused blossoms or just plain big fruit.

Nice!!! I have both Brutus and Big Zac getting ready to flower, so I'll post up any megablooms I might have. I do have one monster fused blossom on my Barlow's Best Black- I'll try to snap a picture tomorrow. It's hard for me to get to, as it's in the middle of the patch. I'm going to try to pollinate all of the stigmas by hand if I can.

On that last pic, is that all one bloom, or is the unfertilized ovary on the left from another discrete bloom? I hate when a megabloom doesn't fertilize all the way across, they end up being lopsided!

Please do post those pics. You just reminded me i too have a massive mega bloom on one of my Barlows Best Black plants. I will have to take a pic of that big boy. On the last pic it looks to be fertilized but a bit behind the other portion of the bloom.

You never know it may be bigger than you think behind all those plants!

I grew some big ones last year

Beauty Lottringa

3#8oz Big Zac

Mushroom Basket
I had a fused one that would have broke 4#s, someone swiped it.
