Trug tubs question

If anyone used trug tubs like this

They are not designed for planting but they are a very handy tool to have around the garden.
I haven't had an actual Tub Trug yet but I have had a couple of knock offs made by other manufactures. The first one I had I got from Walmart which was old stock from the previous season and I think they left them outside during the winter, The handles broke off after using it for a while. I bought another one from a local store and I keep that one inside during the winter and that one has held up good so far.
