Default Where I can get a couple Omar's Lebanese plants this late in the season

Anyone know where I can get a couple Omar's Lebanese plants this late in the season?

Had a little disaster happen, when a neighbor sprayed RoundUp around my fence, thinking he was doing me a favor because I had weeds on the fence line.

Well, I lost 5 young tomato plants, two Dixie Golden Giants, one Cherokee Purple, and both of my Omar’s Lebanese.

The Omar’s are the ones I miss the most, and the only ones I was not able to get new ones of local. I think it is too late in the season already to be starting seeds for such a large fruit variety.

Is there anyone within 100 miles of St.Cloud Minnesota who knows of a Nursery, or even a home gardener who starts extra plants for in case something like this happened to them.

I am kicking myself for not having a couple spares in pots as it is, sometimes we get frost here up until June, I should have had backups anyway.

Any help would be appreciated.

Try Knapps site, she has a large selection of tomato seeds & plants; I'm betting she would have the Omars Lebanese availabe for transplant among them.

You can click the 'contact' button @ the top left of her page & send her an email asking about the variety you want.

I do not think I have seen any at the nurseries I have been to this year but I will keep my eye out if I see any this weekend. I know the Minneapolis farmers market last year had one vendor that had lots different heirlooms and many other vendors with plants as well so a trip there this weekend might be worth a shot.
