Sweetest Orange tomato???

Not counting sungold,which is small.
What is the sweetest orange tomato that is of medium to large size?
And is a good producer in hot weather.
I’m headed to Alaska today so I will check back tomorrow night.

Trying to build a list for spring and you all need something to do in the off season anyway. :wink:

I have grown only one orange tomato...Nebraska Wedding...and I thought it was on the sweet/mild side. Good production and nice sized tomatoes 8-16 ounces.

Ciao Worth,

We grew several orange ones this year. One that is very consistently sweet for us is Orange Banana. It's an elongated "paste-looking" tomato, about 2-3" long or so, gorgeous in a Caprese salad of mixed colours. We also grow Purple Russian and slice it along side. I made a lot of sauce and salsa with it as well. It's not as dense as a regular paste tomato, but it's not super juicy either.

I really enjoy eating Ocharovanie and you will too!

It is blemish free and oh sooo..... goooooood!

You won't be able to get enough even though they produce very well because once you share one with someone they'll keep asking for more.

Of the few, large, orange tomatoes I've grown, Orange Giant was the sweetest.

Ocharovanie and Orange Giant tomatoes were very good for me as well since I've been starting to distribute these two Russian varieties 2 years ago. Very good choice!

Also try our Belarusian masterpiece Orange-1. Very good taste and productivity! It is one of not so many early varieties I can grow in open soil here in Zone 4a with all our late blight problems :wink:
