Most bizarre fungus I’ve ever found
This turned up in our garden today. I noticed it because of the smell but had to take a picture before throwing it in the trash.

In my area Dog Vomit Fungus is common.

Downright bizarre! I wonder what in that container had the spores. I guess if you leave the soil alone you'll find out if there are any more spores in there.

Very interesting-looking fungus!
Speaking of bizarre mushrooms, Last year, I went to the local forest and the ground was covered in round mushrooms, some of them were perfect white balls, some opened up and looked like "zombie eyes"... Took few picture of them:

In researching the fungus in our garden I couldn’t help but be amazed at all the diversity.
Similar to when I started researching corals in preparation for possibly setting up a saltwater tank. |
