Default Tomato recommendations for container

What do you think is the best OP variety of tomato for container growth?

I've successfully used Craig's intensive planting method to sell tomato seedlings at Farmer's market and this year I'd like to make "salsa pots"and "pasta pots", placing a tomato, pepper, and herbs all in one pot. My children have done this at home and loved it.

We've tried Silvery Fir tree but its just never been productive for us in or out of containers. I still grow it every year because its so pretty.

You can grow about any type of OP in a container. If you are talking about tomato, pepper and herb in one pot then you might want to check out the Dwarf tomatoes varieties that are out there. Ami

I believe you can grow any tomato variety you want to in a container. It just depends on the size of container you grow it in. I'm going to grow a some indeterminates in larger containers in the 20-30 gallon range.

In the 5 to 15 gallon range, I will grow semi-dets, dets, and dwarfs. A couple of really small dwarfs, like Hahms Gelbe Topftomate can go in a gallon container.

These are the ones I will grow that are dets:

Hahms Gelbe Topftomate
Black Sea Man
Mountain Princess
Santiam
Bush Goliath
Sophie's Choice

Semi-dets:

Polish Pastel
Purple Hillbilly
Boloto
Early Rouge
Siletz
Orange-1

Dwarf:

Sophie's Choice
New Big Dwarf
Rosa Vetrov
Extreme Dwarf Bush
Polish Dwarf
Utyonok

Indeterminates:

Hawaiian Currant
Porter
Japanese Black Trifele
Sungold
Indian Stripe
Little Lucky
Manyel
Oregon Spring
Sioux
Black Cherry
Top Sirloin (Gleckler's)

Most of my containers will be grow bags.
