support in a tunnel
what do you use to support your tomato plants in a tunnel?
last year I had strings. Attached to the tomato stem at the bottom and above at the tunnel top. But I only prune lightly so my plants get bushy and huge and it doesnt work well with strings. what else could I take for support? |

If you have room for installing posts that are as tall as your plants you could do a Florida Weave.

You might try using spiral twisted wires and hang them from the top.
MrBig46 from the Czech Republic uses it. You would simply wind the vines into the spirals as they grow. I will look for his pictures and post the link here. And here it is please feel free to look through the whole thread as he has many pictures of his fantastic garden and progress. http://www.tomatoville.com/showthread.php?t=27698 Worth Last edited by Worth1; February 15, 2015 at 02:34 PM. |
