I have a Tomato dilemma
A few months ago brog was kind enough to send me some tomato seeds for the asking and for me to send my address. I did so and the seeds arrived at my address.
I knew the names of all of them except the one that was labeled "B.U.S." I never grew it out because I don't know what the BUS stands for. Can anyone tell me what the BUS stands for? I'm at my whits end. And I don't know the color or size. Nothing else was written on the packet.

Robin, I don't see any problem with this post in this Forum, which is about seeds, among other topics.
Where did you think it should be posted? And I have no idea what BUS stands for. Have you asked brog for an explanation? That would be the easiest way of finding out what BUS stands for.

Well, I had to leave for a few minutes to take care of Mom. She needs to be in bed in front of her TV by 9pm, no matter where she lives.
But to get back to the Topic: Quote:

Could be Amber but only Robin can tell us if what she sees as a "U" could be a "W".

I think its Boris’s Ukrainian Salad one of the lesser known tomatoes that Peter the great fell in love with as a child that his personal chef Boris grew in the garden just for him.
A nice flattish tomato with just the right acidity of about 8 ounces. Worth |

Amber, you were right!
I put on the magnifier glasses (2x's), and used another hand held one; together (10x's, which I bought today) I could see that a small "tail" was uplifted at the end trying to make a W but he must've lifted the pen up to early to complete it. So the "Mystery" is solved! Thank you everyone for your patience. I thought I had strange fish in bucket there for a while.... phew!
