Default Rutgers NJAES Tomatoes

I received an email that this is the last year they will sell their introductions from their store. So maybe it's time for me to get off the fence. Has anyone here grown the Rutgers 250? Is it anything special versus the other Rutgers varieties? I used to grow regular Rutgers when we canned tomatoes, but that's been a long time ago. It was an OK tomato, and a good producer for us.

Likewise, how about their Scarlet Sunrise. It sounds a little more interesting. Has anyone tried it?

Yours look very nice! I bought some Ramapo seeds from NJAES (IIRC), and the plant didn't do well here. I never got around to trying it again, and I really should -- most everyone says it's a very good tomato.

pictures of the two Rutgers 250 plants I'm growing this year. Planted Memorial day weekend. Nothing ripe yet on these two... Prudens Purple and Terhune are towering in the background of the zoomed out pic.
