Can you transplant peppers
deep (roots grow on stem) like tomatoes? I forget what I did last year ~ Thanks, Tom

Pepper roots don't grow up the stem like tomatoes. It won't hurt them to be planted a little deeper, though. I usually do just to anchor them down a little bit.

I always bury my peppers as deep as I can, just like tomatoes, for the same "anchoring" reason.
