Great service from Heritage Tomato Seed
I just HAD to have Dwarf Rosella Purple to grow in a pot this winter. I found some at HTS and ordered two other varieties in their "trial pack for $1" series. Shipping was reasonable, they gave me a freebie packet of seeds, and they got here in just three days!
I'm impressed! Linda |

I ordered from that company last year(or I think it was earlier this year). I was very impressed with the service as well. I just checked out the website, and quite a few different varieties are available, since I last ordered. I'm planning on ordering from Heritage Tomato Seed again, before next growing season.

Heritage is a FIVE STAR seed vendor (on a 5 star standard). Steve has great info and gives excellent, fast, friendly service. I purchased from him 3 times this year and each experience was above expectations. Steve developed a personal connection with me that I value.
To be fair, this year I have purchased from J&L, Sample, Tatiana, Ohio, Gleckler, Wagner, Artisan and World Tomatoes who I learned about on T'Ville, and all have been superb. I agree with Marsha...the addiction continues..... Charley |

I've placed a couple of orders with Heritage over the past two seasons...the seeds get here so fast (coast to coast) I'd swear he's using some sort of teleportation technology the rest of us aren't familiar with as of yet...

I don't know how I missed this thread! Thanks to everyone for your kind words.
I have had problems this week with the shopping cart randomly emptying or adding items. Thanks to RobinB (here at T'Ville) for alerting me to the problem. I run my site through a security proxy to eliminate the problem I was having last season with hackers (my site is based on WordPress and it is a popular hack for "kiddie hackers" running bots) I have been able to get both servers communicating with each other so the cart is fixed (as far as I know). However, if you come back to the cart after taking a break from shopping (I believe it is an hour) the cart will display cryptic php error messages. If this happens, the only fix is to 'refresh' the page and start over with an empty cart. I apologize for this inconvenience but I don't know of a workaround with the 2 server setup I am using now. I am looking into a better solution for next season. For now, I recommend making a list of the varieties you are interested in, and then add them to the cart without taking any lunch breaks between additions. Thanks, Steve |

Thanks Steve.
Now I have an excuse for my wife when she sees all of the varieties I am ordering, I'll say "gee honey, I don't remember ordering all of those. My shopping carts must have been "hacked"" . |

Hi Steve. Question for you. Yesterday I put something in my shopping cart on your site, and it gave me the option to use Paypal or fill out info to use a card on your site. I hadn't used Paypal for awhile so decided to leave your site to make sure I could still sign into Paypal and verify my banking account info was correct. Once I determined everything was in order I went back to your site, and I noticed it only gave me the option to pay using Paypal, and it already had the email account I use to sign into Paypal pre-filled in, all's I needed to add was my Paypal password. That spooked me so I ended up not ordering.
I had trouble about a year or so ago with someone in Europe trying to charge something on my Paypal account, and cleared it up with the fraud people at Paypal at the time. I proceed with caution when ordering online more than ever these days. I was only ordering one item so it wasn't a big deal, however if there is a problem thought you'd want to know. Thanks, Jeff |

I this case I think it was the PayPal/browser software using autocomplete to fill in your Paypal information for you. The problems I have/had on my site involves syncing the Session info between the shopping cart and security server. Fortunately, I have never had any problems with Paypal. Thanks for the heads up, and good for you for being wary! Computer " advancements" sometimes make it difficult to sort the "helpful" from the "nefarious" . btw... I don't advertise it on my site, but I accept hard-copy checks through the snail mail (from US customers). Anyone preferring to use "real' checks, can contact me using the 'contact' form on my page.
