Default Some Things just Belong Together.......

Today's haul. And a slab of pecan wood smoked bacon. Ah decisions decisions....

Those Omar's Lebanese sure make a dandy BLT. Think I'll save the Early Girls, Dr. Wyche's Yellow, Pierce's Pride, and Cherokee Purples for some good salsa.

I went to the store yesterday and they had the bacon I like, the uncured kind, on sale for $2.99 a package, BUT only if you bought 6 packages. I thought about all the tomatoes sitting on every counter in my kitchen and decided I'd risk the embarrassment at the register and did it. I put 4 in the freezer and I'll get started on the other two packages today.

I keep sayin', where's the DROOL emoticon???? I say we vote, take out "Waiting" (hardly anyone uses that) and replace with a new "Drool".
