5-1-1 fish emulsion fertilizer

Anyone know if it's good for dogs? Does it help them grow, see better, anything?

My dog likes to drink from the rain barrel and I filled up some watering cans with fish fert from the rain barrel, but had to run inside for a minute. I came back out to see my choc lab wagging his tail and brownish liquid sloshing from his muzzle. The watering cans were below him.

Will he be a bigger dog in the morning? He is smart, really. But in some ways, he's just a dog.

I make my own homemade fish emulsion from white anchovies/manhaden that I catch in my cast net for bait. Cats, dogs, and even rabbits LOVE the smell of the fermented bait/fish being processed. Don't think it will hurt them any..maybe just some loose bowel for a few days. I keep mine covered at all times. Especially for the neighbor's sake when I am making it.

I had some bone meal in my garden, in a box.
One day I went to get some. It was all gone, left a torn bag.
I think rats ate it all.

Now I got an idea : To use bone meal as base for rat bait.

The dog ate my garden tone I left basement door open and she helped herself. I discovered the chewed up bag lying out in the yard. She is old so we let her come in at night. Several hours had passed and then all of a sudden she threw up a ton of the blackest most foul smelling stuff you can imagine. On carpet, I am still working on the stain

Well, Worth.......it's not as if I LET her eat it. The bag was sealed tight in a box. Yes maybe my fault for leaving basement door open unintentionally. I kept close eye on her and she seemed fine until the moment it came back up.

I didn't quote you so it wasn't pointed towards you.

I was simply making an open statement to all.

I had a dog that started eating compost and it kept giving him the runs.
The only thing I could do to stop that was chicken and rice.
I had no idea what was going on until I caught him one day.
