Marigold question:
Hey everyone ~
I start my own marigolds every year and plant them around my tomato plants & the yard ... Had a quick question: My marigold seedlings have gotten pretty tall. When transplanting, can I set them deeper in the pots to try to eliminate the legginess ? or do I plant them at the soil level they were at before ? Thanks ~ Tom

I've done both before and hadn't any problems. If you are going to set them deeper, make sure that the soil isn't too wet. That's the only reason that I've had that didn't allow it to work in the past.

Just like tomatoes, you can set them deeper and they will do just fine.

They also do well with pinching.
