Is there a way to include a photo is a PM? There is a photo I want to share with an individual but not the whole world and I am unable to get started because of my lack of tech savvy.

I don’t believe there is a function in pm on tomatoville to add photos.
Likely best to exchange email addresses perhaps

I used to be able to share photos in PM's by adding the "hotlink for forums url" of the hosting service, such as Postimage, but that does not seem to work anymore.

On the TAPATALK app, on a phone, there are a couple of ways. You can insert an image inline by using the BBcode function at the upper right, or append an image at the bottom with the "add image" at the lower left.
I think it might be a little more complicated within a browser, but I don't do that on a phone
