Default KBX

My little tomato tester and myself just had our first KBX tomato from the garden in both our lives. What a tomato. Extremely meaty, yet still juicy, intensely flavored both acid and sweet, rich tomato flavor! We got three from the first cluster that are finishing up indoors. Largest was 19.75oz. More fruits are on the plant, not a big producer but being such a treat this will be back! 8.5-9.0 on the flavor scale.

I grow KBX every year. I love it so much, I've never had any reason to grow another yellow or orange tomato in the garden.

Got hooked on regular leaf, KBX is a much more sturdy and productive plant.
Must grow for me.

One of my favorites and a must grow, either Kellogg's Breakfast or KBX. For me there is so little difference without looking at the leaves I couldn't tell one from the other, plant or production or taste. Love them both.

Same here; I can't tell the difference other than looking at the leaf.

KB / KBX is my very favorite tomato. I wish I had one now.

Barb, you need to get Hale's to grow some KBs or KBXs. That's where we get some tasty fruits and veggies when we visit Melbourne Beach in the winter months.

I love Hale's. We make a yearly trip there in January to get the Honey Bell Tangelos.

Default Fisher's Old German

I received seed for this tomato in Tormato's swap last year. He has no history on the tomato. The one plant I'm growing is producing like no other Old German grown in years past.
Does anyone have any info on this seed? Maybe the person who sent in the seed to the swap will see this. Is anyone else growing Fishers Old German from Tormato's swap?
Not only is production off the charts but also the taste. I'm handing these out to others to get their take on the taste. Nearly all say it is the best tomato they've eaten.
The size is typical, with most running between 1 and 1 1/2 lbs.
I hoped posting here would bring out a bi-color fan or two.
