Coupons and Key Codes
I thought I would share some coupons. I like to order my heirloom tomato, squash and lettuce seed from the companies often mentioned here, but when I order flower seed and hybrids I order where I get the best price and have had good customer service.
I saw these codes in my Organic Gardening Magazine for Seeds of Change: OGMAG20 20% off on line and Wonder is for Free Shipping on orders over $40.00. Expiration is 2-15-13. Other codes I found are: Burpee for $10.00 of orders of $50.00 or more and expiring 5-31-13, Use key code of BXTEN, Gardener' Supply use YNA7052D for Free Shipping on orders over $75.00 and it expires on 01-01-13. Anyone else have coupons to share? Barb |

Gurney's always has good coupons (and high prices). Here is a google search link that should find some for you:

I also have found then to have poor quality plants and inconsistent quality of seeds. They aren't the company they where when I was a kid. Does anybody remember the 1 cent kids seed packet that had one seed each of several different vegetables?

We have a 15% off coupon at J and L Gardens through January. The code is 'new seeds'. All the new releases from the breeding program are available. That is shameless self-promotion, but what the heck!

I've moved the posts that were off-topic to an existing thread about Gurney's. Please respect the OP and stay on topic i.e. coupon codes and key codes for placing orders.

That is a bummer. I looked for one too for you and could not find one. I hope they come up with an offer again for free shipping at Johnny's.

Within the past couple of days I used GARDEN1560 to get 15% off any order of at least $60 at Burpee's which combined with SAVINGS30 provided free shipping for any order over $30. Many times codes can't be combined, but if they can, you put in one code and click to apply it, then put in the second code and click to apply it.
I don't know what the expiration dates are on these, or if some items are excluded, but one good thing about the Burpee system is that you put the codes in on your "show cart" page and if they are OK, the discount shows in your cart total, and small text appears under the code input field telling you what discount(s) you have active. Note that this only happens if you meet whatever the conditions are. For example, if you input GARDEN1560 but don't have at least $60 in your cart, nothing appears until you add that much, then the discount code suddenly appears. Burpee usually has some things I want, plus I have a sentimental attachment to them, probably deriving from Ken Kraft's book -- but they usually think their merchandise is worth more than I do -- so I keep a list of items I want from them until I get a discount code that brings their prices a little closer to what I think is appropriate. |

Barb, are you sure that this is the code you used? The reason I ask is that when I put this # in, the response was that it wasn't a code # but when I used another code that began with a 12- followed by 4 digits, the response said that the code had expired. I seem to recall that their codes have had only 4 digits following the year #.
