Grandpa' White
I acquired Grandpa' White's Red Tomato at my local Jasper Georgia Farmer's Market and am very glad that I saved seeds since I have not seen the vendor at the market this year. It was a very late tomato, but oh, my it is a fine one, full of rich old fashioned tomato flavor with just the right touch of acidity. Paired with local farm eggs, it is truly The Breakfast of Champions!

I finally grew out of my Grandpa White's Red Tomato Seeds this 2024 Growing Season for my Farm. I was not expecting to have Purely Deep Red Meaty Tomatoes. Please give Angel Field Heirloom Tomatoes some Beef Tomato History for my Future Customers, Amen!
What State Are They From? Tell Me the History of Grandpa White Farm? How many years did Grandpa White grow these "Big Flatten Red Tomatoes"? Are they Heirloom Tomatoes? I understand why the Pictures were "upside down"; the Tops have a thin layer of green that needs protection. So I just pulled some in the early Stages for a good Picture, Amen!!

I am Growing Grandpa White Red Tomatoes again, but I think my "Second Crop will have to grow in my Greenhouse". They are a Regular Leaf Tomato Plant, with BIG Red Tomatoes. I need some History! I can find the history on Grandpa White History, which is a White Tomato.

As I was looking closely at the Leafs of the Grandpa Whites as I placed them in my Greenhouse: they have "a strange shaped Potato Leaf/Regular Sharp Leafs. There is some roundness to the Regular Leaf. This may be a variety grown by my Great-Grandfather around the time of the Civil War by the Contraband Slaves. That description is a Large 2-3-pound, DEEP-RED Tomato.
Please post pictures.
