Anybody willing to share experiences growing these HUGE tomatoes in NC?

I have never grown it or tasted it, but have it on my list to grow.Martin Longseth recently said it was one of his favorite tomatoes and he has grown a lot of tomatoes.

I'm not in NC, but I'm on the other side of the Smokies. I grow it every year. Big tomatoes on a fairly large potato leaf plant. Huge "cannonballs" that will cover the bread on a BLT.

I'm about to go down to the garden and harvest tomatoes and okra. I happen to know that there are some ripe African Queen toms down there. Here's a picture from a past harvest.
