seed startng shelf
This was my first project I had no idea what I was doing or how it would work it was a shelf bound for the scrap yard that I scavenged, I have Wal-Mart grow lights inside disposable baking pans for a reflector fastened to the bottom of the shelf above the other one for a total of 4 shelves with lights set at different heights so I can move plants up as they grow. Foil on the back to reflect light and space blanket around the front. Two 100 watt bulbs under the bottom shelf for bottom heat to sprout the seeds. Grow lights connected to a power strip that is connected to a Christmas light timer set for 16 on 8 off. I refined my technique after my first seedling where extremely leggy.

I assume it does, with the space blanket and the 100 watt bulbs I can keep the whole shelf at around 70* with no other heat in the shop, oh and all my seed sprouted and continue to grow. Yeah it works.
