Noir de Crimee was third of main season plants to produce ripe fruit. Mama Leone [a paste] has given up a couple. And have eaten one Novakov's Giant, and it tasted very good. Got one EF turning color.

I'm growing Noir de Crimee this year also. I have it in a container on my dock. Not producing heavy for me. Let me know how this one grows and tastes for you.

Denise, it's the first of my main season types to produce several ripe fruit that could fit into most anyones top 10 rating as to taste, production, and plant health. I'll test it against Carbon for taste when Carbon ripens.

Earl, how does it compare to the Black Krim that you sent me some years ago? It looks very similar in size and color.

Craig, I'd say taste is similar to the BK I sent to you, but BK's seed locules are larger. And the concentric top cracking on BK is more pronounced. Interior wise, it probably looks more like Black from Tula [tighter locules], if memory serves.
