Yummy Tomato Pie
I was just searching for a cookie recipe and tripped over this tomato pie recipe. It looks so good I had to share. You'll need both red and yellow tomatoes, which won't appear around here for at least six months. Sigh... Still I'm holding on to this one. It looks so good!! A crowd pleaser.

That DOES look good. Won't be able to try it for another few months here, either.
I like to make a quiche (basically just egg and cream poured over anything) and topped with sliced tomatoes and some italian season/garlic salt sprinkled over it. Come to think of it, just plain old sliced tomatoes sprinkled with oh anything, topped with a little shredded cheese and broiled for a minute. sigh, I really miss tomatoes. Why am I even here looking? LOL |
