Oklahoma Tomato Growing Program
The Oklahoma Horticulture Study Group is sponsoring a tomato growing program scheduled for April 3, 2010. It will be taught by Sue Gray, OSU Extension Horticulturist. It will be from 10am and 3pm, but the actual presentation will be from 12 noon till 2PM
Location: Tulsa Garden Center, 2435 S Peoria Tulsa, OK 74114 we will have a few heirloom tomato plants and Herb plans for sale to help pay for the building rent. It's free and everyone is welcome |

Hi, I'd be interested in going. You say the actual presentation is from 12-2, what is taking place from 10-12 just out of curiosity. I'm in Muskogee so it's not that far to go at all.

The Program was a huge success. We had close to 300 people show up to learn how to grow tomatoes. I need to get a program together just on container growing as so many people are so interested in that.

Congrats on your success. There is a lot of interest in container gardening, I like to combine in ground and container d/t poor soil is some areas. I'm sure a container gardening seminar would be well received.
