Sustainable Mountain Agriculture Center Seed Swap/Sale Oct. 5th
This is the annual swap held in Berea, KY at Bill Best's place the sustainable mountain agriculture Center. http://www.heirlooms.org/ It is always the first Sat. in Oct. and starts at 9 am.
Bill Best is to beans as Carolyn is to tomatoes. He just published a book. http://www.ohioswallow.com/book/Savi...eserving+Taste All kinds of seeds are exchanged or sold including many heirloom tomatoes. I'll be there as will a few other TV members like KYGreg and Maria of Blue Ribbon Tomatoes. (VGary always went. It will be sad that he will not be there this year.) The ladies from Southern Exposure Seed Exchange are often there. Plus many other interesting seed people. It is definitely worth the stop if you are in driving distance, and farther if you are a heirloom fanatic. If you come, make sure to say hi! If you can't make it this year, make plans to be there in the future. Remy
