AliExpress
Has anyone purchased tomato seeds from AliExpress? Some listed varieties would be familiar in the U.S. Others seem to be varieties developed/sold in Asia, and rarely are mentioned here. Thinking about trying a couple -- like virtually everything on AliExpress, the prices certainly great!

I've ordered from them and they take a while to get here. Don't be surprised if you don't get exactly what you wanted, I ordered TPS and received some type of radish seeds. I didn't complain since the price was so low.

I would stay away from F1 seed that seems too low. Most probably something else or an F2.

I would be wary about anything ordered from AliExpress, be it gardening or beauty stuff... Too many fakes.

I had to order a steering wheel for my sons car... twice because people think its funny to steal someones unattached racing car steering wheel? both times he got the right thing but for the most part.... I think it is a gamble. my daughter has ordered a few things... cheap cheap cheap quality.

AliExpress is a place to stay away from, first it'll take a long time to ship from oversea. Especially things like seeds you wont get what you want, and usually questionable quality.

The other wholesale site is dhgate.com - I buy a lot of stuff from them, but I looked at their garden supplies and seeds, and I would not order any from them. They have a lot of photoshopped pics that are so ridiculous that they are becoming famous, like the blue strawberry and the tomato plant where every fruit is a different color, including smurf blue.

Cole_Robbie, that's no different from eBay
Some Chinese sellers have had those 'wonders of nature' for years, and eBay has not been able (or willing) to shut them up. |
