Marigolds - purple leaves
I am growing some vanilla marigolds indoors for the first time this year. The plants seem healthy overall but some of the leaves are purple. Any idea on the cause?
Grown in 68 degree heated garage, T8 6500 lighting, and fertilized with a light mixture every 1 1/2 weeks. |

They might be a little cool but I think they look very healthy. nice growing. They like fertilizer so maybe increase a bit. I would just use a balanced all purpose

Thanks for the reply. I think you may be correct about being cool. They are on the lowest shelf of my grow stand, which is closest to the concrete floor.

My marigolds turn purple when they are out in the cold frame, they'll grow out of it. Speaking of which, I've got to plant those out this weekend!
