plant ID? summer bulb
I think this is a bulb. It's one of the plants I got several years ago from a nursery dumpster (!). I forget about it until it blooms!

Here's the whole plant. This is why I love bulbs: looks like an empty pot (or space), but once a year it explodes into something interesting and beautiful.
