Default Question on Spotted Wilt Virus and Thrips

I'm dealing with Spotted Wilt Disease on my tomatoes. Since it is spread by thrips,

are there any plants which repel thrips?

And which insecticide(s) seems to work best against them?

Not that I am aware of, although there is some discussion of using lavender oil in the TSWV sticky towards the top of this forum.

Depends. Any number of insectides will kill them, but they can build up a resistance to just about anything. Also, they like to hide between leaves, inside flowers, so it's hard to flush them out (pyrethrins can sometimes help with that).
