I have seeds for 30 varieties already since March. You have 3000? Wow. My head is spinning... lol.

Your tomatoes are lucky to have such an attentive and loving girlfriend as you. We should all be so lucky.

I have to admit, I'm pretty jealous.

And congratulations on your first taste of a delicious home grown tomato.

Pictures of our Black Cherry bush. Just had the first couple of ripe cherries off of it and they were sooooooo good. Going to make some clones and plant a couple of more of these since nothing but cherry tomatoes will set fruit here in the summer.

This plant is attacking the trellis!

I love black cherry so much. It's my 2nd favorite cherry of all. Sun Gold F1 is first. I never tried growing it in the summer, it'll be interesting to me to see if it sets fruit. It was bred here in Florida.

I hope it continues to set fruit. I stocked up on cherry plants since thats what most people said have a chance of setting fruit in summer here. So I have Black Cherry, Sun Gold, Sun Sugar, Sweet Million and Maskotka (tumbling type) which all have fruit set. Then I have some baby Artisans and Indigo Blueberries. Planning to germinate the Zluta Kytice (thank you Marsha) and Amethyst Cream Cherry.

But I think yesterday I got a taste of whats to come weather wise. My tigers and bumblebees which have been outside for a monthin full sun and have been fine, practically shriveled up in the heat and wind yesterday. They are going to be ok but I moved them to a more protected spot both from the wind and afternoon sun.

So... it may be a lost cause with the Florida heat and humidity but I will let you all know how it goes this summer.
