Let me rephrase that. You should never waste space in a refrigerator to cool beer that is only good enough for a slug to drink.

Sounds like a good excuse to get rid of that Coors the neighbor brought to the barbeque!

My Bad. That looks like either slugs or possible Japanese beetles flying in and munching. I don't know enough to give you advise. I have the same looking damage on various plants so interested in more folk giving suggestions. Oh, the beer traps are golden for slugs though!

I am very qualified to give advice on these issues-
Unfortunately I have had to become a slug expert, and I live in Wisconsin, so I already am a beer expert.

I spent a good half hour last night pulling snails off my plants. No idea how many I pulled off, but it was enough to make a decent batch of escargot.

Thanks for all the help y'all. When the rain stops I will do a beer trap and spray some seven.

Looks like slugs to me.
My favorite cure is $2.99/6-pack beer from Walgreens, poured into wine bottles laid on their sides in a slight depression in the soil. They move in but they don't move out! Stinks when you empty them. I'll bet I have more slugs than you! They're my worst pest. j |
