Default Heat, Drought , Birds, Bunnies and tomatoes.

First off The Tomato I will never see. A Coveted Brandywine Sudduth.

Brandywine and Cherokee purple friends. Same 1.5# brandywine it appears. For scale.

Todays haul (Birds and Bunnies are on these quickly if you leave them in reach while blushing)

Was it Bird or was it Bunny?
The bite is getting cut out and my wife is consuming this slightly overripe LGS

Some views of the Tomato Jungle. TYhe Texas Tomato cages are easily being topped now.

Some Brandywines on the vine

Orange Fleshed hiney dew

Some Speggatti Squash to put away.

Gardening by remote is not near as fun as being home but next weekend I will be able to help with the harvest and consumption and putting away the Tomatoes and squashes and other delicious crops that are peaking.

Thank you Barb. My wife is not as good a ripe Tomato hunter as I am (unless it is a potato leaf plant that she associates with brandywine..then she knows every fruit that sets ) I look forward to finding all the "hidden" treasures she has missed. The good news is that she is sold on Texas tomato cages keeping the plants more "manageable" so I will be getting some more, they are worth the expense .

Everything looks fabulous! Won't get to eat anything that yummy until maybe late August.
