Default 7/9 pics plus cherokee green question

Here are the latest pics of the garden. I also have a question on the the last pics of the cherokee green fruit set they seem to be in cluster of 4 to 6 mainly 6 and the early sets are staying fairly small still about the size of a large cherry tom. For anyone that has grown it is this normal?

The CG plant growth habit is very similar to Cherokee Purple.
However, the fruit size and clusters you show are not
Cherokee Green I'm sorry to say.

Should be intersting to see what these turn out to be...

Here's what you should be getting:

Thanks! I do not have a Cherokee Purple growing but do have a Spudakee plant growing next to this one and the fruits on that plant look more like the ones in your picture. The ones on the cherokee green are smaller tomatoes and flowers and are very round and smooth with no blosom end scaring at all.

Bee-made cross with a cherry tomato would be my guess.
(I see those fairly often, more often than chance crosses
that result in larger fruit in the F1. My theory is that it is
because cherry tomatoes have so many more flowers than
most larger fruited cultivars, which induces the bees and
any other pollenator insects to visit those first before touring
the rest of the row.)

Default Update on crossed cherrokee green

Thought I would give an update on this. Picked the first tom yesterday and it was a maroon red weighing 2 ounces and somewhat seedy (attached pictures do not show the color differance).

I am holding off judgement on taste until I sample a few more but just was out looking at the plants and I have 3 more turning but this plant is loaded with fruit 100+.

In the first pic it is in the lower left second smallest tom pictured, also in the pic is a KBX, Faux Brandy Boy, heatwave 2, Cherokee cross, and tomato tumbler. other pics of it by itself and sliced. Saved every seed.

Might be a few years before I get to see if I can get larger fruit from the F2 since I only have room for 11 plants now I would have to dedicate the whole garden but I might have to grow at least one just for fun next year.
