Default Subarctic Toms

Have some very healthy seedlings, about 20-30 cm high. Normally here in NZ we wouldn't plant out our tom seedlings till end of October, do different rules apply for subarctic, or do I harden off and plant out the same but just look forward to an earlier crop??

Different rules don't apply to early varieties. Most folks set out all their plants at about the same time and the varieties would probably include early and midseason and late varieties so that there would be fruits to harvest throughout the season.

That being said there are those who push the season by using Walls of Water or some other way to raise plants for early set out, again, of early, mid and late varieties, but most don't.
