I am happy to report to everyone
I am ecstatic to report that at the LI fair we won three ribbons. Unfortunately not in tomatoes but we won first prize in Lantana in a 10 inch bucket, iresine and third prize in hot peppers.

Congratulations! I know how much effort goes into the fair showing process. It is a lot easier to just grow and eat. Most fairs go begging for entries. At the Iowa State Fair, there were more entries for the informal tomato tasting contest outside the pavilion than tomatoes inside for the formal show.

Congrats, Elliot! I understand hot peppers but what were the other things?
I am off to Malaysia soon and will only have my balcony on which to grow things. 10 inch bucket seems beckoning... |
