Default What CAN you do ?????

Today, with the freeze coming Monday night, I cleared out the remainder of my tomato plants. It occurred t me that we can have fried green tomatoes with the larger green ones, but what to do with 3 pounds of green Cherry Toms ??

Are there recipes for green toms chopped up or should we freeze them and then try to do something later or puree them and try to do something or ..............

I hate to waste them, so I'm looking for alternatives. Anybody got a plan???????

Do you like mincemeat pies? I have a recipe for green tomato mincemeat that is vegetarian - no suet. Lots of fruit. Great warmed up on ice cream or sponge cake too.

oooopssss.....

Just realised where I got the recipes mentioned above....in the cookbook/recipes section under green tomato recipes. However I've got tons more that aren't even added yet.

Why not let the bigger ones ripen, just as you do with large tomatoes? They're not as good as those picked ripe, but they're often as good or better than those in stores--and cheaper too. We're still using ours ripened that way in our salads.
