A little more tweaking has been done on the list including adding my friends' requests. Jury is still out on what, if any tomato plants will go in containers this year. Maybe a dwarf or two and a Tropic for the containers. Here is the list so far:

Those are impressive lists of varieties...some I have grown & others I know by reputation. I think this is one of the most tantalizing times of the year, when we have "tomato dreams" about all of the great varieties we can grow in the upcoming season. SteveS

New varieties
I thought this might be a good place to query input on some unusual new varieties. These are ones I am getting seed for & am considering growing this season.
Yellow Submarine an improved yellow pear, PL, supposedly better taste Ed's Millenium productive strain of pink Brandywine selected by Master gardener Ed Lo, more productive but comparable taste to other strains, from SSE yearbook, doesn't state which strain Zebraheart green & orange heart Brad's Black Heart pink-black heart Mostly I am interested in good taste & vigorous plants, but I like the unusual appearance also. I have a strong preference for indeterminates. If anyone has any experience with any of these? SteveS |
