sources for heirloom tomato plants in Dallas / Fort Worth Area?
Hi All!
I'm trying to help who lost all of his seedlings a few weeks ago. Does anyone know of any good sources for tomato plants (especially heirlooms) in the Dallas / Fort Worth area? All I really know of in Calloway's, but there's got to be more. Any ideas? Thanks |

Calloway's has a lot right now for $1.99 per 4 inch pot. I bought a Cherokee Purple and a Boxcar Willie there a few weeks ago. Wal Mart's have nine packs of Bradley for $3 as well as the standard stuff like Early Girl and Better Boy and Husky Red Cherry (Home Depots and Lowe's have the Bonnie brand stuff too.) North Haven Gardens in North Dallas has several varieties.
Good luck, it's out there. |

Add to the list Rodentas in Dallas and Arlington. There is one in Southlake too, but the name escapes me. FYI - Calloways has multiple locations and they frequently have different plants, so calling around may yield different varities.

In addition to Calloways, I found a fair selection of good plants at Marshall Grain Company's new store in the Grapevine/Colleyville area. It is in an old Calloways location along SH 121 just south of 360 on the northbound frontage road.
