Mittleider is an expert in soil grown crops. He has traveled the world showing people how to grow crops on land previously unable to support crops. Known as the magician of soil he is an expert in all phases of agriculture from soil preparation to nutrient requirements to nutrient and disease problems and treatment.
His Books "Food For Everyone" and "More Food from your Garden" using his "Grow-Box" method is what sparked my interest in that it is an inorganic-organic gardening method and can be used anywhere no matter what the state of your soil is in. His "Garden Doctor" series should be a must read for all dirt farmers as it covers all aspects of the macro and micro elements as they pertain to the plant and soil and describes the symptoms of each whether they be deficient or excessive. Here's a link that might be of some interest to everybody. Ami http://www.foodforeveryone.org/
