I think that I may have given a bum rap to the Ceylon tomatoes. They are still prolific and the flavor has improved. they have a cherry tomato like flavor, now - not as "weak" tasting as they were at first. They are now making a really nice salad tomato, enough depth of flavor to stand up to lettuce and dressing --- but not enough flavor to entice me to eat them while I am standing in the garden with my hose.
