Default Has the site been down?

I've tried for the last 5 hours to access the site and this is not the first time...

Is anyone else experiencing this, or is the problem mine?

That's odd - no issues here and the server is on the west coast and I'm on the east.

Please let me know if this is the error message that you get when you try to access the site - look for the line number specifically, thanks.

can keep my spirit

Hello Mischka -

No, I did not receive any error message but the server (Firefox) could not connect me at all. This effort took at least twenty or thirty attempts over five hours from 09h00 GMT.

Each time, I would see the progress bar in the bottom RHC open, but I never got the running green hyphens that signify a transfer of data. The bottom LHC just said 'DONE' constantly.

I typed the address into the address bar, and also tried to just click on my TOMATOVILLE favourite button, but nothing worked.

Of course, I did try other sites but had no trouble opening them.

Not a biggie...

Net congestion perhaps? That happens sometimes where a server is very busy. I have that problem from time to time with Idig.No probs with Tville as yet though.

I can concur with Huntsman also.

Just comes back with site not there message from with which ever browser you use.
I tried on IE8, Firefox and Chrome and on 2 different ISPs.

I just figured it was down for some work. I have had this problem on another forum I used to run, ended up being resolved when we shifted servers.

As for net congestion.... could be, but a long shot, unless someone has set up a DoS attack on TV's address.

All i can say is i 2 suffered the same problems huntsman did at almost the exact same time.

But all is good now

Sounds like a Trans-Pacific router problem at an Internet
backbone provider. (I will refrain from a geeky explanation
of "route flapping" and so on.)

Don't think its just OZ and RSA that are having probs getting on the site. I just spent the better part of the last 2 hours trying to sign back on.

Mischka, it said that the server that the site was located on wasn't recognising the site request, I think.

I had trouble the same time as Hunt. Tried to access the site that morning early (couldn't sleep). No error message, just the spinning hourglass on my end. I finally got sleepy enough and went back to bed and when I signed on again in the real morning LoL, it was fine. It's been fine since.
I figured you were doing an overnight update.
