ultimate opener tomato
Any one grown this one? If you have how was it for tast and production good or bad.

I live in Florida and am just ordering seed for it at pinetree. I do know that early girl improved from (pinetree garden seeds) beat out in flavor, most of my heirlooms. I really hate to admit it and it was mentioned by friends who I gave tomatoes too that it was better as well.

Yes I have grown Ultimate Opener, which leads one to believe it's early. Not so much (for me). That was back in 06 & 07 and I haven't grown it since. I would suggest staying with the Early Girl Improved since it has the qualities you're looking for. I also like Ultra Sweet and some other earlys from Stokes. For an early heirloom it's hard to beat Stupice.

thanks for the tip on ultimate opener. My early girl improved was not so early either. Ripened at about the same time as Dr. Wyches and J.D special. Those two it did not beat out in flavor!! lol

Have you tried Wapsipinicon peach? it is one of my favs. and really sweet. I also read on here about white peach! have you tried it? I am wanting to get seed for it.
