C..... I'm assuming that concoction defines "complex" flavor. Always wondered about that one.

I think, for a cherry, Black Cherry applies - nice strong tomato taste!

I didn't give any specific amounts except for the lemons so if you want to define complex taste you're going to have to do several trial runs altering the amounts of what you put into the mixture before what you find might best define YOUR idea of complex flavor.

I found Red Boar to be a strong flavored tomato.

how about Red Penna, I'm growing it for the first time this year but hear it has a strong old fashion tomato taste.

The first year I grew it, Dr. Wyche's Yellow had a strong bite to it. I would say acidic, but others say that's not so. I can only say that it left my tongue and lips tingling. After a while I would be drawn back to it's almost addictive taste, which was unlike any other tomato I had ever grown.
Unfortunately last year, they did terrible for me. With the cooler weather and the constant rains they produced bland watery tomatoes. I'm sure that was the weather and not the tomato.
The only others that come anywhere near it's unique tastes would be Arkansas Traveler and West Virginia Straw, both of which had very strong tomato flavor.
Good luck with your search!
