I was wondering about Brandywine Cherry. Is there a commercial source for this variety?

I'm not sure I've actually grown a pink cherry! I generally don't care for cherries, but Black Cherry and Sungold are nice, as is Sara's Galapagos.

If that is what it actually is, no, that one is dark-fruited:

(Although someone could easily have shortened the name,
not knowing that there was more than one "Guernsey Island ..."
variety. One sometimes finds the pink cherry called simply
"Guernsey Pink Blush".)

I actually liked Rosalita, too. The fruit was only half the size
or less of the Guernsey Island Pink Blush, but it was sweet
and tasty, and I did not really notice the texture. I just
popped them in my mouth whole and ate them for a snack.

[commercial source for Brandywine Cherry seeds]

Tania lists it in her seed catalog, and mentions
Casey's Heirloom Tomatoes of Airdrie, Marianna's
Heirloom Seeds, and Solana Seeds as other
sources:

(See Seed Availability, down near the bottom of the page).

So far, Rose Quartz is the best I've grown, though it did take a bit longer for the fruit to reach full flavor and sweetness.

We liked Whippersnapper. It really withstood a lot of abuse and the nasty weather we had at the beginning of the season here in the Northeast.
