I am quite fond of Amana Orange. For me, it's almost as good (taste/performance) as Kellogg's Breakfast/KBX.

I like Aunt Gertie's Gold and I like Yellow Brandywine but I loved Elfie and it was the most productive of the three for me. Ripens to orange with solid flesh and strong, classic tomato flavor like a red variety. Yum!

lol, I've already been quoted and most appropriately for this thread.
Someone missed Manyel and maybe Galina's Cherry. One of my personal favorites is Orangina which showed up as a variant in some Argentina seedlings I grew a few years ago. I've grown it just about every year since. DarJones |

WI55 Gold
WI55 Gold has always been a great tasting yellow for me in NE Ohio...I've probably only tried 10 or 12 different yellows\oranges, but this and KB are in the garden every year.

Last year I grew Gold Medal, a large bi color tomato. It is gold yellow with some red streaking. I found it very tasty and not bland as some yellow tomatoes can be. And it looks absolutely beautiful on a plate with Aunt Ruby's German Green, Brandywine, etc. , etc. Looks and tastes great in salsa too! As you can guess, I am growing it again this year.

Tania's already mentioned this one, and my notes from last year also indicate "must try"

Patty
Orange-1 is smaller fruited salad size and semi-det whereas Orange Heirloom larger indet Both are good Carolyn Ami or Craig (nctomatoman) What would your choice be between them? Though smaller I like Orange-1 better Dennis |

DarJones thank you for mentioning Manyel I had forgotten that I wanted to grow it this year and have now sown some seeds while hunkering down here with all this snow in Fairfax, VA.

It must be that some Orange/Yellows do better some locations than others and tastes are differ greatly everywhere.
Kellogg's Breakfast/KBX are head and shoulders better for me and I have grown them in two different locations. Likewise, Yellow Brandywine, Aunt Gerties Gold and Lillian's Yellow Heirloom have never done well or tasted very good. I know Orange Russian 117 is bicolor, but I need to add that one year it was the best in the garden and the next year near the bottom. Bottom line, try what sounds good and see what you like and then try it again just to make sure.
